Alba Alvarez has more than seventeen years of business experience. In addition to the field of real estate, where she previously owned and operated Metropolitan West Real Estate, she has worked in the insurance, financial services, and travel industries. A licensed Insurance Professional since 1999, with six of those years as a New York Life agent., she also operated one of the largest travel agencies providing unprecedented service within the Hispanic community for discounted travel and corporate travel to and from South and Central America. Alba is vice chair of the Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce in Boston and volunteers with The Greater Hispanic Lions Club and Casa Nueva Vida. She has been active in the American Heart Association, Devon & Nicole House, and Little Heart. Born in Argentina, Alba came to Boston in the 1980s to finish her studies in marketing, sales, and financial and life span planning. Her varied experiences illustrate her dedication to customer service and her talents in inspiring and assisting people as they accomplish major life goals.
